Among other things, Ambrosio is a designer and professional makeup artist who has traveled internationally to educate at makeup shows.
He’s also into gardening and lives in North Babylon where he raises chickens. (That last part, Ambrosio tells us, means he’s a flock master, a.k.a. wannabe farmer).
A life-long South Shoresman, Ambrosio was born at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip before chasing the modest dreams of so many Lindenhurst natives and moving to the Babylon area.
His work has appeared in Celebeat, Long Island Pulse, Make-Up Artist Magazine and more.
“Long Island media is mostly dated and it shows,” Ambrosio said. “I chose to be part of the Greater movement because of its refreshingly new yet professional and journalistic approach to sharing news, as well as its unbiased nature.
“And, mostly for me, it gives me the opportunity to support small businesses: the future of our economy.”
In the coming days, look for an “Ambro” piece giving advice to guys on how to raid their girls’ bathroom cabinets for their own good, and a children’s book author interview.
