Babylon’s annual Fall Harvest Festival and Street Fair happens Saturday, Oct. 20.
This year marks the 26th year the Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce has hosted the event.
While the entire weekend — Friday through Sunday — will feature a sidewalk sale from local Babylon businesses, streets will be closed only Saturday for the festival.
So that day, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Deer Park Avenue will be shut to vehicle traffic from Main Street to Rail Road Avenue for the event.
“This is probably one of the most popular and well-attended fall festivals on Long Island,” said the chamber’s Kelly Peckholdt. “We are looking forward to another wildly successful event.”
The Fall Harvest features continuous live entertainment, family-fun activities and games, and food and beverages from local restaurants, bars, and cafes.
The historical Conklin House will be hosting an Apples and Art Festival that Saturday.
In case of inclement weather, there is a rain date scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 27.
