The Babylon Chamber of Commerce packed out The Piermont for its eighth annual Chinese Auction.

The event, which is the biggest fundraiser for the non-profit, was on Thursday night—hundreds of prizes were donated by local buisness.  According to the chamber, it was the largest function to date.

“We as you saw had a huge turnout,” said the chamber’s president Kelly Peckholdt. “We specifically moved the event to the Piermont to accommodate a larger crowd, and the new venue and the success of our prior events drew even more people than we could have anticipated.”

“We are so appreciative of our community for supporting our events and helping to make this so successful,” she added.
