Suffolk Police are searching for a man who robbed a BP Gas station with a needle in West Babylon last month.

On March 13, around 2 p.m., the armed robber, pictured above, entered the building at 331 Farmingdale Road in search for cash.

After the clerk informed him there was no cash on the premise, the robber proceeded to steal the station’s cordless phone.

The clerk followed the thief outside, where the robber threw the phone on the ground, rushed back inside and stole Newport cigarettes and multiple 100 Win $2 scratch-off lotto tickets. The ticket numbers are 243 to 250.

The suspect then fled on foot, running toward Eckert Avenue.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
