Many locals gathered at Babylon Village’s gazebo at Argyle Park for the first-ever Gazebo-Palooza.

On Saturday, the Babylon Beautification Society sponsored outing ran from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., featuring live music by the Gallagher Brothers Band.

There was also food, ice cream, and beer and wine, available throughout the night. The food was donated by The Local and the frozen treats were donated by Kilwins.

All the money raised from the family-friendly party is going toward helping the nonprofit’s Babylon railroad area beautification project.

Last year, the BBS planted over a dozen trees by the train station, and now have plans to upgrade a loitering haven plot of land across fromThe Local, on the corner of Railroad Avenue and Depot Place.
