There’s a new Red Lobster in the Town of Babylon.

On Thursday, the casual dining chain launched its newest venture at the Deer Park’s Tanger Outlets at 1700 The Arches Circle. It’s the second of its kind in the town; the other restaurant is in Copiague at 801 Sunrise Highway.

During the grand opening ceremony, members from Babylon Town presented management with an honorary certificate of appreciation.

“This Red Lobster’s open, bright and inviting environment will be a great addition to the Tanger Outlets here in Deer Park,” said Babylon Town Deputy Supervisor Tony Martinez. “I, Supervisor Rich Schaffer and the rest of the Town Board wish Red Lobster all the best.”

Altogether the Florida-headquartered company has 700-plus restaurants nationwide with seven locations on Long Island.
