The U.S. Navy Blue Angels and U.S Air Force Thunderbirds zoomed over Long Island on Tuesday for a tribute to frontline healthcare workers.
The approximate 40-minute flyover began at the George Washington Bridge in New York City at noon, traveling next to parts of New Jersey and then to the south and north shores of Long Island. The planes finished the flight in NYC.
At 12:17 p.m. the planes soared over West Babylon, and GreaterBabylon photographer Scott Kiernan captured with the below photos.
Moments later, the aircrafts flew by the Bay Shore area. Greater Long Island’s Ana Borruto caught that moment in Brightwaters in the following video (CLICK HERE).
